Raised in Virginia, Joanna earned her BA in English from a liberal arts college outside Richmond, then moved to Ohio where she earned her MA from The Ohio State University. She went on to work first for the American Heart Association in both management and development, then for close to 20 years in the field of education at Educational Testing Service.
Her work ranged from content development and management, to training and implementation. When it became time for a career change in 2019, she was given the opportunity to work for Nielsen Miller Law in an administrative capacity. Fueled by her robust organizational and administrative skills, and her desire to help others as they navigate through the divorce process, she became the firm’s paralegal in 2021.
In her off time, Joanna enjoys spending time with her young daughter; curating her love of television, books and movies; and taking advantage of all that her current home of Dublin, OH has to offer.
