Cody Hondros

Cody is native to Central Ohio, graduating from Columbus Academy in 2000. He then matriculated to Kenyon College where he studied Music and Philosophy. After graduating from Kenyon in 2004, he spent 6 years in San Francisco, California, where he worked in the finance and insurance industries and discovered his passion for community service. Cody was a performing member and Business Manager for Cheer San Francisco, an adult Cheer Squad dedicated to raising money to support HIV/AIDS research and LGBT community centers in and around California. Upon his return to Columbus in 2010, Cody continued his career in finance while serving on local and statewide LGBT Non-Profit boards such as Equality Ohio, Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO), and the Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation. It was through his community work that Cody learned that his future was with the Law. Cody graduated Magna Cum Laude from Capital University Law School in 2017, having served on the Capital University Law Review and Capital Equality Alliance. After graduation, Cody worked as an in-house attorney for his family business before entering general legal practice in 2021. Cody is also an amateur photographer and can often be found shooting content on a moment’s notice for Jussy, his wife of four happy years.
Cody entered family law to help his clients navigate the unique and often overwhelming emotional and financial challenges they face. Having grown up with divorced parents mutually committed to his upbringing, he carries a unique understanding of issues that arise when raising children in two homes.
